The Kansas Fire and Rescue Training Institute, a unit of KU Continuing Education, is launching a program called Handling Propane Emergencies. The training includes about three hours of live propane firefighting involving a variety of props and scenarios.

International Student and Scholar Services is looking for families who would like to share their holidays with international students. Families are needed to host one or more students either for Thanksgiving Day only or throughout the Thanksgiving break period.
