Advising

Academic advising is important to academic success. KU schools have advisors to assist students. If you are new to KU, a good place to start is the Freshman -Sophomore Advising Center which guides students toward the resources that will assist them as they begin their college careers.

Tutoring

The Academic Achievement and Access Center (AAAC) is a good place to start if you are looking for tutoring options - find tutoring help, support and resources.

KU Writing Center

Trained consultants can help students, faculty and staff brainstorm on topics, write draft or edit their work.

Earning KU Credit

KU accepts a range of non-traditional academic credits, including advanced placement and military training, retroactive credit and test scores that may exempt students from certain requirements.

Learning Community (LC)

This program permits first-time freshmen who share academic interests to work with professors and peer educators in interdisciplinary studies and activities that fulfill curricular requirements. Residential and non-residential options are available.

Study Abroad
